Oregon State still has to play Stanford, ASU, Washington before they get to Oregon. They won't make it to Eugene ranked.

UCLA will also take a hit if they lose to Oregon, then they have to play Washington and ASU. Could easily drop one or both of those falling out as well.

It's going to be cutting it close.

Maybe if Miami, Clemson and VA Tech could each lose to an unranked team like Utah our SOS would improve?
Stanford is ranked number 6 and the highest 1 loss team for a reason. Are you disputing that? And yeah, a UCLA team that loses only to Stanford and Oregon and wins the rest has a stronger SOS than those 1 loss teams you mentioned from the ACC. It's easy to get through the ACC with only 1 loss because most of the conference is mediocre.

At this point it really doesn't matter who beat whom since it's all in the conference. Really, we need Stanford to beat ND and for all our teams we play to win as many against cross divisional teams we don't play. For instance, ASU beating UW hurts us. However, we could very well play ASU in the championship game.

Stanford may be the only game they lose besides the Oregon game. They are on a roll right now.

Oregon could very well lose just like any other team in the mix right now. It is tough to win out.

True, why would gaytors care. The only thing left they can do to affect anything this season is beating FSU.

You do realize that I said FSU should be ranked ahead of Oregon, right? Most BSC prognosticators do have Oregon ahead of you once our schedule catches up in the computers. There really is no argument. Oregon goes if they win out. Right now FSU deserves to be ahead.

As bad as the Gators are this year, they would still give the water chickens a game.

Our schedule will catch up this week provided we take out UCLA. We'll be back at #2 where we belong.

Since you want to use "current" rankings, There are currently 3 top 10 ACC teams - and possibly 4 if VT wouldn't have lost to the number one team in the land. Do you dispute that?

It's a college football discussion that also impacts the SEC because it's about teams that might face your champion at the end of the season. Get lost if you don't like it.

How old is he? Probably not old enough to remember the last time Oregon won it all. Oh wait....

The only team that most people take seriously in your conference is yourselves, FSU. It doesn't matter what VT could have done. They didn't do it so it doesn't matter. The rankings are the rankings. It's futile to dispute them.
