Each team on UGA's 2024 schedule rated from toughest to easiest

Rating done by Mike Griffith of the AJC.
Since the brainiacs of the CFPC didn't want to see UGA win a 3rd straight national title by penciling in Texas & Bama instead, guess the Dawgs will just bulldoze their way to another title next year!
50/50 (toss-up)
-- At Alabama, Sept. 28: The Georgia players returning will not forget the recent SEC Championship Game letdown and the Tide’s dominance at the line of scrimmage.
-- At Texas, Oct. 19: The Longhorns have beefed up for the SEC and are rich with NIL funds to land more talented free agents and elite coaches.
CHALLENGERS (a touchdown could decide it)
-- Clemson, Aug. 31: The Tigers added Matt Luke to the staff and will bring a determined bunch into what some still consider a rivalry game.
-- Auburn, Oct. 5: Hugh Freeze has proven a big-game coach who has Kirby Smart’s number, and this game follows what figures to be an emotional UGA contest at Alabama.
-- At Kentucky, Sept. 14: UGA puts its 27-game SEC regular-season win streak on the line against a determined UK team led by Brock Vandagriff.
-- Tennessee, Nov. 16: It’s a new SEC, no more divisions, but Josh Heupel figures to have his pass game back in order.
UPSET WATCH (10-14 points, but stay tuned)
-- Georgia Tech, Nov. 30: Brent Key’s program is not to be overlooked and will once again be laser-focused on pulling an upset.
-- At Ole Miss, Nov. 9: The fact this road game rates only eighth-toughest tells you everything you need to know about the difficulty of this Georgia schedule.
PENCIL IN WINS (20 points or more)
-- Florida, Nov. 2: Remember when the Gators were Georgia’s biggest threat? Florida could have a new coach by the time this game kicks off.
-- Mississippi State, Oct. 12: A new head coach, but the same lack of front-line talent means the Georgia Bulldogs need only not beat themselves against the Maroon variety.
BLOWOUTS (by 40 or more points)
-- UMass, Nov. 23: The Minutemen were 3-9 last season with FBS wins over Army and New Mexico State, and a 63-0 loss to Penn State and 59-14 setback at Auburn.
-- Tennessee Tech, Sept. 7: This FCS contest is as soft and cozy of a second game as UGA could land heading into the challenging 2024 slate with a school-record 25-game home win streak.

Come on now. After what they did to UT and UGA for a 20 year stretch? This is glorious

Winning in Bryant Denny and in Austin in the same year is a tall order. I would be happy with a split. I am thinking UGA is 10-2 next year with a chance at the SECCG and a 5-12 spot in the playoffs.

You used too many periods in your ellipsis and didn't leave a space before your next thought. Next time try a semicolon.

I thought Kirby had gotten the Saban monkey off his back in 2021. I was wrong. This is an L no matter what going forward until the King retires. Kirby seems to forget how to coach when he faces his old boss.

Do you go to bed at night (afternoon Pacific time) thinking about all the times you've fallen?
