now include the 500,000 a game viewership for the super regionals and 220000 ave for regionals because ncaaw drew ave of 2 mil from 64-16.

Why don’t you? You are the one who has dug themselves into a hole.

What hole? This is the statement you responded to regarding softball vs wncaa bball
I doubt any sec softball team can outdraw women’s bball in tv ratings much less at a 2-1 clip.
You responded with a terrible comparison by taking softball finals ratings(nearly double that of the average full tourney ratings) and compared them against the entire ncaaw tourney ratings while canceling out the biggest game(and still came up over half a mil short btw).

I mean women’s bball is the third most watched ncaa sport, softball isn’t too 5, at a certain point you had to realize it was a dumb argument to make.

This whole thread was about individual SEC schools, not the country as a whole.
The very first quantitative number you tried to cite you were proven wrong. (Never go toe to toe with SoG on stats unless you are looking at the stat.). You got your feelings hurt and got mad.
You keep referring to national TV ratings. Which means you have missed the entire premise of this thread. It is about differences between individual schools in the SEC. TV ratings in Seattle or Minneapolis or nationwide don’t mean anything in regards to this.
You have been presented actual numbers that show that at Alabama, attendance at softball games crushes attendance at women’s basketball games.
I found TV viewership numbers for several Alabama softball games. One was over a million viewers. TV viewership for Alabama women’s basketball is so bad you can’t even find them, even if you search their two NCAA games this past tournament (Florida State and Texas).
You keep talking about math, and numbers and ratings, but all you actually present are “I thinks”.
Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

You missed the entire premise of this conversation
Fan following in general. I didn’t know this was based solely on attendance, I was assuming tv ratings schollys and money spent are included in what makes the sport popular, I doubt any sec softball team can outdraw women’s bball in tv ratings much less at a 2-1 clip.
This is literally what you replied to, you can see under my comment where you are the sole person replying(so yeah you literally replied to me saying I missed the premise, then you doubled down with all the dumb shat that about softball tourney numbers equaling ncaaw) and now we’re here. You replying to admission that I thought we were talking viewership and still went on to say they were equal let’s everyone know you knew the we were talking ratings and proceeded to double down with made up stats about take out this game and only use these games. I will apologize for assuming your depth of nuisance and context though.

Cal is getting paid more than Pittman. That should tell you that Arkansas is priorizing basketball over football.

This is less priorities than what sport fans of those schools are most likely to be bragging about today on the rant.
