I think Madden has a deal with the NFLPA where the money goes to some sort of fund for all players. Not sure how it is doled out. 500 million over 5 years.

However I think that Madden tends to sell more in their first week release than the college game would sell in their entire run so it is hard to compare them. You probably have as much marketing value in 4 NFL teams as you have in the entire college football roster of 133 teams and 85 players each.

shite yeah, as a college player I certainly would.

$500 would just be a bonus.

I can see the other side of some wanting a bigger slice of the pie, but as a fan of the series I'd consider it an honor just to be included.

NCAA 2014 topped 1 million copies. $500 to each player would be 5.525 million dollars for 130 D1 teams with 85 scholarship players.

Add $5 to the original cost of the game and boom, we all covered that. That said, allow us to customize rosters. Happy trade off

I think the whole thing is they are planning on not letting us customize the rosters due to potential issues. Idk why they didn't just make a generic game for years, and let the player base customize everything.

Exactly. I still have random arse players that I fell in love with by playing NCAA. Chad Bumphis tore shite up in my online dynasty in college, and I appreciate him for that to this day
