Wing is only .9 yards less. He has 11 more inside the 20 with only 6 more attempts. He also had 6 more of >50. Therefore it is likely that he had several outliers that are dragging his average down, 11 more to be exact. He had a ton that he put inside the 10 or 5 that were kicked very short. Since he has more outliers (forced short kicks) it is safe to assume that his average would have been longer if LSU's offense wasn't better than yours'
Not to mention they don't show the stats of punts inside the 10 and 5 but if they did Wing would crush your #2 kicker. Have a good day, Mate.

He sucks at this. Give him a break. Arky fans are just now starting to pull the shotgun out of their mouth. Be gentle

I'll give him this, at least he's admitting defeat by not responding anymore, instead of spewing off a bunch of crap.

Brad Wing is also my favorite player on LSU's team. Never has a kicker come close to that distinction for me. (maybe Corbello)
No one who has seen this kid punt the ball should say anyone is better than him in college. He is a freakishly good punter.

Brad Wing is the best punter in college football. Wing brings new elements to the punting game that is not even measured. I suspect we are watching the reinvention of the punting game by Brad Wing and future Australian Football players coming to play college ball with hopeful entry into the NFL. The successful kicking style Wing is using has never been seen in college football until now.

He is easily one of the most marketable players on the LSU team aside from HB7 and Mett. I may be in the minority on this, but I would not be surprised if Nike started making #38 replica jerseys for sale.

Meaux is better than Brad Wing

Dylan did have the entire field to work with most of the time. Just sayin.

Exactly.
Didn't LSU have negative yards returned against them most of the year last year?

Its not fair. The moment he signs an nfl contract he will be a top 5 punter in the league. There are some in the nfl with a bigger leg, but I've never seen the accuracy that Wing has WITH BOTH LEGS. It's unheard off really

The most important stat has not been mentioned yet:
Going into the BCSNCG, Wing had allowed an AVERAGE of 0.333 yards per punt return to LSU opponents.
The FIRST punt returned ALL YEAR on Wing was in the BCSNCG. His only frick-up, if you can call it that, was outkicking the Bama return man, who had to run back and catch it, and kicking it lower than he normally does.
That was the only punt return against LSU ALL SEASON..............

That is just outrageous.

Before jan 9 LSU had given up 14 inches of punt returns. It wasn't enough to measure in yardage
