I wasn't even alive but I still complain about Ears Whitworth's tenure in the mid-50s. 4-24-2 is a disgraceful record and it remains a blot on our program's history.
I personally believe DuBose did more damage because his 24-23 record brought with it the Albert Means scandal that caused our program to wallow in mediocrity for another six or seven years after his termination.
