Doesn't'r really matter. Mizzou is one of two teams playing Saturday. The other 12 are home on the couch.

quote:Dunno, program maybe? If we're talking year-in, year-out, over time, then yeah- Alabama 1, LSU 2. Pretty much a given that LSU will be ranked every year, that at some point will be around top 5, that if/when they lose a game the other team will make a big celebration about it. Our disaster year ended 8-5.
Channel surfing and stopped long enough to hear him state that neither Mizzou nor Auburn are the best team in the SEC. He stated that Bama and LSU are the 1st and 2nd best teams in the league.
Auburn was winless in conference last season, and have been very hit/miss since Tubs left. Florida also has sputtered recently, and crashed this year. Georgia is the poster child for not living up to potential. Petrino might have had something brewing at Arky, but whatever was there is gone now. South Carolina? Good every year, still no BCS bowl, no conference championship.
LSU may have slipped from perennial top 5, but we've leveled off at a 10 win level, with the occasional run still in the tank. We now have a respected OC to go with our respected DC and solid special teams. Pretty sure we're gonna be top 10 next year to start; not a bad program at all.

Just win Saturday. That'll shut him up!
I've nothing against either Mizzou or Auburn and actually like both. But roots make me pull for Mizzou. OSU losing puts the SECCG winner (if there's any justice) in the NC game. Just an incredible turnaround, either way. I hope it happens.
Go Sparty! And to Hell with Doug Gottlieb.

Very well said.

With LSU's defense, there is no way anyone can rank them second in the SEC. MAYBE 2nd in the WEST, but you can argue that mizzou and south carolina better.

You can make a case for LSU > Auburn. Auburn was pretty damn close to having 2-4 more losses and LSU was close to having 2 more wins. Oh, and LSU beat Auburn. As far Missouri is concerned, well, lol fk Missouri.

As our Mizzou brethren pointed out, "However, records represent achievement."

I think LSU and Alabama would be favored over Missouri and Auburn on a neutral field....that is probably what he is saying.
