I would think that sleeping on a hog would be quite uncomfortable, with the corse fur and all, but it is Arkansas, so really anything is possible

Your offense never was the problem most of the time. It's that defense. Switching to a 3/4 isn't easy. You have to either be a basic defense which is a bend but don't break or make it complicated and blow coverages/assignments. This year won't be good for the hogs. The future could be if y'all give it time. The SEC west is loaded with talent.

The offense was a problem at times last year. Red zone offense to be particular. Hogs were extremely efficient between the 20s, but once inside the 20, the offense stalled out all the time. I haven't fact checked this, but I heard it stated the other day that Arkansas got into the opponent's red zone as much or more than any other team in the SEC last year, but was one of the worst teams in the league at scoring touchdowns from inside the red zone.
Reason is the run game. Or more specifically, the offensive line play. If the offensive line play has improved considerably, Arkansas will be absolutely beastly on offense.
Arkansas lost a lot of production at wide receiver last season, but they have replaced that with a few guys with excellent speed and ability. I'm hoping that two of those guys specifically live up to their hype (Jordan Jones and Brandon Martin). Both those guys have the ability to take the top off a defense, which will allow Arkansas to be more effective in the rushing game.
But again, it all depends on the o-line. Time will tell. Not long to wait now.
