Don't know if the Rams made the right move, but Simpson absolutely made the right move...

Took huge advantage of a bad QB and overall draft class and got huge draft capital. Likely would not have gone this high had he returned to Bama or took the money at Miami. And if Stafford plays for several years, almost surely will get all of the money from his rookie contract.

This is why I have always felt that Chambliss made a huge mistake not coming out this year. His name will never be hotter and this QB draft class is an absolute fricking joke.

From what was said about him by McShay and others, likely would've had a hard time getting day two draft capital.
