You're right and if the chips didn't fall the way they did and we didn't get a second chance that would have been our own fault. But we ran into good fate. NOT OUR FAULT!!! You never heard me say we controlled things. We didn't control our destiny. We relied on others misfortune and some luck. YOU controlled your destiny. I would have much rather been in your shoes toward the end of the year (before 1/9 of course). All I am saying to some posters is stop with the Bama had a 2nd chance crap. It sounds like whiny bitching!! All you can do is beat who's on front of you and let the chips fall as they may!!!

That's a fine reason for wanting Alabama to beat Michigan, but my reasoning is just a little simpler. I want Alabama to stomp Michigan into submission just to make the Big Ten sit down, shut the frick up and know their true place as a second-tier conference in the FBS.

You started this thread sounding pretty intelligent and end like this.
You ASSumed I was saying Bama controlled there own destiny by beating who was in front of them. Once again...never said that. But our circumstances were different. Now you categorize all Bama fans because of something you ASSumed I meant but never read from my postings. And you say I'm the one who sounds 20? I said exactly what I meant, "Beat whoever is in front of you and thats all that matter". Once again....if we didn't get the second opportunity because we lost the 1st time OUR DAMN FAULT MAKE THE DAMN FIELD GOALS NEXT TIME!!!

I don't hate Alabama, I really just get so tired of their fans being ignorant. It's annoying that 75% of the Bama fans here are bandwagon fans, and as soon as they go downhill they will leave. Some of the fans are really cool, but the majority/ bandwagon fans will be gone after an 8-4 7-5 season.

No you would not have. You would have had to play a SEC Championship game just to get into the big game....whereas as it was, you didn't win your division, didn't win your conference, and didn't have to put it out on the line for an extra game against a good opponent, just to qualify for the big game....all you had to do was fall short the first time, and avoid the risk of losing the SEC Champ Game....and you were in.

You're one of the few that don't. I know many Bama fans can be assholes (we all have them). But I reserve my disliking for AU and TN. And only because that's a deep down "born with" hatred. And even then I don't know if i can call it hate because I don't want them to lose non-conference games. I won't lose any sleep if they lose, I'll even have a little joy but it's kept in check by my priorities. Our win over Auburn is worthless if everyone else has beaten them also. What's coming from the LSU fanbase seems like pure hatred to the core and i just don't get it. I'm a 2000 Bama grad and I haven't missed a home game since about 96-97 so i'm pretty die hard.
