Let's not forget that they lost their last 6 SEC series last year. Tony V left him a steaming pile of shite to clean up. He might be able to turn it around. Give him some time Vol fans.

He showed yesterday he may be in over his head as a manager.
He brought in a freshman reliever in a tight game who immediately loaded the bases. He then lifted him to bring in another reliever who had only thrown five warm-up tosses in the pen.
Predictably, the guy hit the first batter he faced to bring in a run.
Good way to lose a game and to hurt a pitcher's arm.

But Shitranneux said Elander was the reason for all Tony V’s success

It's difficult to say. Tony was so busy grooming his a-hole for life in the Golden City that he forgot to coach the last half of the season. Elander deserves some grace.
