You couldn't do better than the guy at Rutgers? A hog fan summed it up nicely in one word: unimpressed.
Y'all hired Rich Rod. frickin' Canadians.

The quoted stats just showed BB to be the best recruiter Arkansas has had since 02, talk about failing to back up your argument
Bobby Petrino had an offense that put inferior talent into good situations.
There's no way Bert will be able to recruit at a level good enough to run his offense and be successful.

This most recent thread has shown that your collective jimmies are still Rustled by Admiral Bielema.
Posted on 2/9/14 at 5:07 pm to Killean
So every coach that I think is shitty has rustled my jimmies?
Right

Right

Bert doesn't have "an offense".
That would be like saying Les Mile's fingerprints are all over LSU's defense...

A LSU fan lurking on and plagarizing from HiV.
That's special.

You're just talking out your arse. He needs big strong OL, RBs, Possession WRs, and a game managing QB. He has recruited exactly that. Where we're still lacking is on the defensive side of the ball. Our offensive recruiting has been outstanding and exactly to his style. Since you spend so much time on our board do some fricking research.

I was under the impression that Arkansas was 100% going to the pro style football scheme that Alabama and LSU run.

Arky actually improved late in the season. Their last 4 games were close. I expect they'll make a Bowl this year. Auburn better watch out that 1st game.

No I'm not

Outside of Brian Wallace, your OL haul isn't impressive. Alex Collins was a solid grab, but there's 3-4 schools in the SEC West with 2-3 backs with the talent of Alex Collins or better.
I'm not impressed with your WR haul one bit, and I'll hold off on grading your QB recruiting because it looks like you have a solid one in '15, but that doesn't matter if he will never take a snap while Bert is coaching there.

Me and you have different definitions of outstanding

He's actually recruiting very well on offense. That's not the issue. As with every other Hog coach for the last twenty years, defensive recruiting isn't up to the level where it needs to be.

Might be the best OL class in Bama history.

Nah, not this year. We have two elite Guard prospects, though.
Next year we are going to rack up on linemen. Already a 5* committed, lead for a 4* OG from Texas, and lead for a 4* T out of Louisiana. Will probably take 5-6 offensive linemen.

Our line will have 2 FR. All-Americans and 4*'s 2 deep at almost every position. Our DL is close to the same shape. It all starts up front and we're building it right.
The Oline is probably going to look something similar to this in the 2 deep.
LT - 6'10 320 / 6'6 315
LG - 6'5 330 / 6'4 315
C - 6'6 300 / 6'3 330
LG - 6'5 330 / 6/4 320
RT - 6'7 325 / 6'6 310
The only 3* was a FR All-American last season, compared to starting a walk on no star at LT the last 2 years.
SEC's bout to get their shite pushed in.

Anybody that doubts Bielema's and Pittman's ability to put together a very good OL is kidding themselves. He may never get the defensive issues fixed but OL will never be the issue.

When do you see your offense making the jump? What's your expectations?

Wow what a terrible hire, this DC doesn't know how to stop a pass. No way to spin this hire Arkansas fans. But I guess Bielema was desperate after getting turned down by the Memphis DC..
