Saban is a classic case of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. Rigidity check. Perfectionist check. Generally miserable check.

He was pissed it was too easy and now everyone is saying they are unbeatable, best team ever, which makes his job tougher. So he was ready to jump on a question about good they are etc, and went ballastic on this simple comment on each QBs play in the game. All he had to say was both did what I ask them to do or both need work etc. it didn’t require him going fricking nuts. Really kinda wierd, something is bothering him.

It was a very typical question that was easy to anticipate.

The Hurts question set him over. But the real reason he was hoping up and down mad was the stupid penalties and missed assignments.
Wonder he didn’t have a stroke on the sideline.

While I recognize your intentions, show a pic of 'the Coz' probably was not the best idea.

Herman.....
Theoretical question.

Suppose Georgia beats him in the SEC Championship game this season.

Suppose LSU is for real again.
And beats him this year.

Suppose A&M is for real in two years.

Auburn is there.

My point....

What if saban doesn’t make the playoffs

Stroke?

DyeHardDylan. LOL @ your limp little soft peter statement. With weak folks like you around it is no wonder the sperm count of Americans is decreasing. Your dad must have beat your arse regularly. But yes Saban has a serious fear of failure like a ton of successful men. And no such luck to you and opponents of he and his program with the illness thing. Guy is strong as a horse for his age.

Actually he is a kind of souped up Pat Dye at an easier to win at school. Pat had a serious fear of failure instilled in him by a borderline abusive father just like Saban. But ole Pat liked the bottle and the puss and that slowed him down some. Plus he ain't a rocket scientist but he was at AU which was a perfect fit. Both are what you see is what you get folks.

Or how about the media are annoying and Saban is a bit of an a-hole. Both things can be true.

You'd better save your concern for Auburn's red zone offense.

Coach, did you play this weekend. I hit 3 of 4. Auburn plus, LSU plus, WVA minus vs the Vols (way too soon for JP to make a diff) and lost w/Mich vs ND. So naturally I'm a damn genius and about to break the book. Problem is I can't find but one game this weekend. And I like to sweat early and often. I kinda like Georgia minus 9 to 9.5.

You ain't gonna believe this, but I put that shite down about 6 or 7 years ago. Last year I did some picking for a couple of buddies in Tuscaloosa and and wore'em out!...It's amazing how smart you get when you ain't got any skin in the game.

Yeah he very clearly has some psychological things going on that drive him, but he's very successful in his career and very rich because of it so it's not exactly a bad thing. The only thing that suffers from it is his family life, but other than his daughter's sorority sister who she beat into a coma, nobody else has ever gotten hurt bc of it.
