Does Saban have a moral compass or is it win at all costs? AJC reports that he has grayshirted another player to get around the rules. He does not seem to care about the mental and financial costs to a kid!

Without knowing more about this story, I'm just going to assume you're stupid and move on.

the kid has known about greyshirt probability for months. he has a scholarship in January. a scholarship. not a shot at one if his knee heals. if he wants to enroll in January 2014 he can do so under scholarship.

has grayshirted another player to get around the rules

Is greyshirting against the rules? How is he "getting around the rules" if he's doing something allowed within the rules?

This is a meaningless question. He wins which is all that really matters. I would care more about a moral compass if I was searching for a day care center or a maid.

Greyshirting is perfectly legal. It "gets around" no rules.

So far, his compass has lead him to Pasadena, New Orleans, and Miami...I think it works just fine.

Maybe a better comment would be not follow the spirit of the rule.

sure he does.

he had the decency to step over a man while he was on the floor incapacitated rather than step on him.
