That's news to literally everyone including Quincy.

Apparently Quincy is just running wild. So wild, that he ran through the IPF when they were having pro day

True or false....
You had absolutely no idea that we return our most disruptive NT and BY FAR our best safety.

What is he going to do when the Raiders draft him in the 1st round later this month

Didn't know about the nose tackle.
True or False....
You honestly think losing half of your 2 deep is going to make you better on defense.

They've won more games every year under Freeze.

LSU has increased theirs each year over the same timespan. I don't see that keeping some people from predicting less than 10 wins in 2016.
ETA: Nevermind. I thought Freeze started in 2014 for some reason.

And what about the safety?
And false. Our defense should be about the same which is above average sec defense. This is assuming gross and Conner come on a level average for their normal play as well as the 5th year Oregon state player able to make an impact before about 1/3rd of the way through the season.
Those three should get better as the season progresses.
Our most notice loss will be elston. No doubt about it.

So why are you even arguing with me? I called out the OM poster who was claiming the defense will be better and there's zero doubt about it.

You finished 9th in the SEC in ypg on defense. I wouldn't call that an above average defense in the SEC.

Because some of your points are absolutely invalid. You point towards Hilton as a loss at our safety position when he played linebacker his entire career until Conner went out. Conner was tied for most TFL on our 2014 squad. Our dline was far and away our deepest group and still talented enough to over come this years losses.

We finished 8th in scoring d which is the only defensive stat that matters. Obviously not much better than 9th lol....but ok...average sec defense.
We will likely have an average sec defense next season. We gave up 22 points per game...I figure well give up around 20-22.

Scoring defense most certainly isn't the only stat that matters.

OM is losing 3 linemen, 3 LBs and 5 DBs and my points about replacing production are invalid?
Right.

You can make arguments about it being a better stat than ypg but it has its problems as well.

I don't disagree with that. The drop off in your defense from 14 to 15 was shocking to me.

Until games are decided by something other than points.....ill entertain the idea of stats other than scoring D mattering when discussing team stats.
Until then....games are decided by which team scores more points than the other. And there's only one stat on each side of the ball that is relevant to that fact.

Your points are absolutely invalid when you don't actually know what you're talking about.
