WTF does it matter, he is a College Football Coach. It wouldn't matter if here were 6'6 360 or 5'1 115. He is one of the best football coaches in the country. Size has nothing to do with his job, Maybe you should worry about Gene Chizik "the toothless one", and him winning more than he'll lose this year.

Judging by the responses you'd think Lee County Tiger was the man behind Dead Spin. The guy just posted a link. Chill out.

I am sure the article is 100% correct, and its just the beginning of the conspiracy to make things look larger than they are. We are told by so-called "experts" that the Eiffel Tower is really tall, but how do you explain THIS:

I was on the field prior to the 2007 Iron Bowl, and I was about to graduate and begin a very short-lived football coaching career.

I was terrified that my 5'7 height would keep me from obtaining my goal of becoming the next great college head coach.

So I snuck across the field in the middle of pregame warm ups and stood right next to Saban for a brief second. We were about the same height.

It turns out, being short doesn't make you a bad coach. Being a bad coach makes you a bad coach.
