What does that have to do with Hudspeth? And we're paying Mullen $3million a year now along with a brand new football facility. Stick to LSU.

Really? So a $30 Million football facility and a $75 Million Stadium Expansion = pocket change?

Yeah, I guess that's why you continually hire assistants as HC's and couldn't afford Newton.

Don't just shut your Mac, get up, and walk away. We are having a gentle men's conversation here.

Neither one of you had a legit response to my statement.

We hired the OC from a dynamic offensive team that won 2 NCs in 4 years.

He makes lots of money.

Well you hired a girls basketball coach (yes, I know he beat us), so I'm fine with our coordinator hire. Second, memphis is trolling or he obviously didn't read the case on the newton story

There are a lot of things I know and don't know, but continually watching State continually hire average/below average assistants speaks volumes in who your hire would be. You had a shot to make a splash with a good basketball hire, but instead you set your program backs years in advance of Ray even coaching a game.

Mullen was a good assistant, but he's yet to beat a team with a pulse. Now he can't even claim a win over Ole Miss. I see all that combined with you losing recruits to other SEC programs late and it seems your university funds either come up short, or you have an internal problem that needs to be dealt with.

C'mon man...

I mean, in that case, your $3mil a year coach just got out coached by a girls basketball coach.

I'm talking about hiring him....not waiting to see what he does after a season.

He's the most successful coach through four years than we've had in decades. For better or worse on how I feel about him he has won a lot more than he has lost, and two nine win(likely) seasons in the last four years isn't shabby.

That really only happened in 2011. We closed strong in '09 and '12. '10 was wrapped up for better or worse by December.

Yeah, he didn't help win 2 NC at your other favorite school or anything of that nature.

This does not mean he is a good coach. Nutt coached us to a couple of good seasons while being hot garbage of a football coach.
