I became zealous on a Sunday Morning.

Mullen is about to pull a Nutt move and get more money out of MooU..

Mullen with the Nutt moves lately.

I'd hope Stricklin would tell him to get bent if he pulled that.

Mullen already gets paid fairly well for an MSU coach. Amirite?

The 3mil he makes now is fine enough for the time being.

He's the highest paid Sunbelt coach, IIRC.

If Merlin flirts with other jobs and wants a raise would you rather him get a raise or see him leave

If it's substantial then he can GTFO. Mullen is a good value for us at $3million. Above that and you get near elite territory which he is not worth.

Serious question. Who do you think has the higher coaching ceiling at MSU? Mullen or Hud?

tossup
ETA: to be honest with you I think 10 wins is the ceiling at State. Mullen was one game away from doing that (potentially with bowl win). Most OM fans aren't looking at the game. Had we called the right plays in the redzone, we would have been up 35-17 at half. But y'all won and that is it. Do I think Hud can reach 10 wins at State if he ever got the chance, you better believe I do.

One of the most overrated coaches in the country

Definitely Hudspeth. I go to school at UL-Lafayette and what he's done is nothing short of amazing. He recruits his arse off and runs a tight ship with his program. Before he came to Lafayette the school hadn't been to a bowl in the 70s, now we're heading back to New Orleans for the 2nd bowl in two years. He's going to do great things somewhere. I know he choked at Florida but the fact that we played them like we did still blows my mind.

Then Striklin should say frick you to Mullen if he tries to flirt with another school for a raise. You would be able to get Hud for much cheaper right now than Mullen's contract anyway.

Yes, but Mullen isn't going to do this, or atleast I don't think so.

I know, excuses, excuses, but we weren't able to capatalize on y'alls mistakes and that is ultimatly why we lost this game. Period. I think most OM fans would agree.

State doesn't have it. Plus, you like to hire assistants.
