Gruden makes 5 Million per year for taking my father in law to Tennessee games. I used to do that, but I embarrass my father in law by asking Tennessee fans if there are good parking spaces available near the Sunsphere. Now he doesn't want me to take him to Tennessee games anymore.
Anyway, why would Gruden leave that cushy gig?

How is it down right ridiculous? Hiring a Super Bowl winning coach at one of the power programs in college football isn't transcendent? I know you are a Bama fan just like me and I hate UT but Gruden would be a game changing hire.
Also you lost the argument when you compared Gruden to Chan Gailey. Gruden has won a title and is one of the most recognizable names in all of sports. He can walk into any living room and everyone will know who he is. You would have to be an idiot if you actually believe that Gailey can even be mentioned in the same breath as Gailey
In fact, Gruden is more like Saban than he is Gailey
You missed the entire point.

I am with you about this Gruden thing. Hell, look at the comments on the board. Corndogs being all negative. Imagine the melt on this board if UT did hire Chuckie. UT lands Chuckie and the corndogs wound up with yaw yaw. Good Lord hilarious!
I dunno whether they could get him, but if he did show, I suspect every hotshot, up and coming assistant in the country would be knocking on his door for a job. And that could be the key!!!

I think the main adjustment would be dealing with the day-to-day bullshite of 100 18-22 year olds on your team and the 15-17 year olds you're recruiting. Then, you have to deal with needy 50 year old boosters.
I would stick with MNF.
I would stick with MNF.
