YTD he is right on target. I feel sorry for the teams that face LSU once he is allowed to 'let it fly'!!!

has been mostly accurate with his passes, with a few drops, and a bad call or two on catches that were ruled incomplete...not to mention some plays that were called back due to penalties.

Yes, Harris is the only QB that this has happened to...he has truly suffered from some crappy receivers and refs.

No surprise that LSU fan is blaming refs for something.

No. Harris is talented. He is a young QB and doing what his Coach tells him to do.

Only stat that counts are the W or L.

I'd take him over JJ by a little.

For 6.4 yards per attempt. Scary.

Not happy with Coker, I see.

No, but I know I don't know enough to recommend anything. And I haven't started a single line about the Alabama QB situation.

Here is my deal about Harris. Hooray for him... but LSU fans have started 182 lines since end of last season about him... just on the SECr, not counting hundreds and hundreds on Tr.

There have been three times as many lines about Harris than every other QB in the SEC combined. Every week more posters think they have a unique inspiration and start several lines something like... "Duh..Harris is gonnabe the greatest of all time." Then when anyone reasonably responds that he has to prove himself first, LSU flock like crows demanding everyone know "he can sling it," "makes great throws," "will be the duh greatest of all time." Jeezzzzzz

My whole point is a plea... goddamit, give it a dam break. Talk a little football, schemes, OL, anything. Just give the SECr a break and stick that stupid shite on the Tr. Keep in mind that booze, crack, meth, shouldn't be consumed before getting on the SECr.

Not terrible...does what's asked of him. Need more data to have an opinion one way or the other.

You have a platoon of scholarship quarterbacks that couldn't beat out Brad Kragthorpe for a headset at LSU if they tried. I would give it a rest if I were you.

This year I think everyone just assumes he must be bad since he has hardly been used.

The thing that most observers here do not understand is playing in the Miles system. For him to get the start over a more experienced person then Miles and Cameron have full faith in his physical abilities. The key here is that CLM is training/teaching his young QB the mental side of the game and working on making him mentally tougher each week. They did this with Mett and I think he did pretty well. First year was "check with me" and second year was full control at the line.

Miles is in a funny situation here. He is coaching for competition in the national playoffs this year while at the same time trying to develop next years team which has the chance to be better.

I missed the "last year" at first and was wondering what part of this year's MSU game you considered "garbage time."

I think that would explain my downvotes.

Not relevant to what I was saying at all and not gonna happen. Nor can I recall you actually "spanking that LSU arse" outside of 2011 and 2013. Good try though.
