I think I found him, but his last name is Taylor. Mason Taylor.
Seriously, they run the same, play similarly, it's almost scary if it wasn't so good...

The big difference is one had 414 yards and 3 TD as a freshman. the other had 882 yards and 13 TD (with another rushing TD thrown in).

I'm not saying they're equal, but they run routes, catch the ball, and look like they could be brothers. Similar size also.
To me Brock should be in NYC for the Heisman ceremonies.
And Mason is going to be really good as well...

I love what happened with Mason Taylor last season and very excited about his Tiger future. But this was an odd post. Bowers is a pure beast.

Now, or after a few games, name a better TE than Bowers? And then pick the #2 TE in the SEC or possibly anywhere, and you'll probably select Mason Taylor...

I'll go with Oscar Delp. Darnell Washington was the second best SEC TE last season.

Last season is now in the NFL...

I’ll go with Luckie Lawson

I agree, Oscar Delp is gonna do some big things.

Delp - 5 receptions for 61 yards and you guys make fun of me posting Mason Taylor who was far more productive as a frosh...

Yes, and Oscar Delp is moving up the depth chart to take his snaps.
Last year Washington had 455 yards as a #2 TE. I expect Delp to do about the same this season, which for a #2 is exceptional (and why Washington ended up being a 3rd round pick despite being a backup).
Delp is my "surprise" pick for UGA this year. He's easily among the top 5 TE's in the SEC this year and may be the second best after Bowers. He's that good.

Can’t convince me MulkeyMan is a lsu fan. Prob an Aggie guy by the way u can feel how soft he is through the screen

Delp was 4th string last year at the beginning of the season.
He passed Arik Gilbert during the season ( a 5-star TE prospect who had 368 yards in 8 games as a true freshman for LSU ) and forced Gilbert to transfer out of UGA.
He was behind 5-star Darnell Washington who was a 3rd round NFL selection as a Junior, and behind the best TE in the nation in Bowers.
You can laugh if you want. But there's a difference between stats put up by a 3rd/4th string true freshman playing behind two NFL starting TE's and a guy who didn't have competition for a starting role.
Again... my prediction is that as the 2nd string TE, Delp is going to put up stats as good as Darnell Washington did as a second TE last year and among the top 5 TE's in the SEC. When he starts the year after that he'll be an all-american.
Unless of course Lawson Luckie beats him out.
I realize you aren't familiar with UGA's depth chart, but UGA has had so many good TE's the last few years that they can legitimately argue their 4th best might be better than 80% of the NCAA.
Here's their recent TE's they've had on the roster:
2020 - Darnell Washington (#2 TE in the class, 34 in nation)
2020 - Arik Gilbert (#1 TE in the class, 10 in nation)
2021 - Brock Bowers (#2 TE in the class, 59 in nation)
2022 - Oscar Delp (#1 TE in the class, 51 in nation)
2023 - Lawson Luckie (#2 TE in the class, 68 in nation)
2023 - Pearce Spurlin (#5 TE in the class, 106 in nation)
2024 - Jaden Reddell (#4 TE in the class, 52 in nation)

Meh. Taylor is good. Real good. No harm in a little brag. It's understandable.

I have no problem with you posting about Mason Taylor. I think he's very good, too.
But, in fairness, Delp was playing behind Washington and Bowers. Oscar Delp looks like Bowers twin brother.
It will be interesting to see if Bobo continues to feed the ball to our TE's. (He'd better) If the LSU coordinator designs plays around Taylor he will blow up, too.

Don't disagree UGA has the best TE class in the world, but LSU is #2. And BTW, don't talk about Arik please, we know all about him lol...
