You are letting them win by showing how much it has rattled you.

LSU is 2-1 in the SEC and MSU is 1-2.
PM has never been one to bite his tongue it's just the way he is, but he's not gonna throw at kids either.
I guess PM should just sit there and not say anything in case someone spins it into him being butthurt.

No what actually happened was at the instruction of John Cohen Graveman intentionally threw a 90+ mph fastball at Katz's head.
quote:So Cohen is the standard to be judged by. As long as it is better than Cohen, it is classy.
It is a helluva lot better that what Cohen did.
quote:Sounds like you are too emotional or dumb to understand the point. Whether the pitch was right, wrong or in a gray area, reacting like a bitch is still reacting like a bitch.
I'm guessing you didn't hear Rea and Graveman laughing about throwing at Katz on MSU radio after the game.
I'm sure you are for that too though so it's all good.

Was it really 90 mph or are you fluffing this a tad bit
well, I doubt it was a curveball or a changeup.
88? is that better?

AU has won the previous 3 series against LSU in the regular season and we aren't driving all the way to Baton Rouge to end that streak this year...
So does Auburn win 2 games or 3?
Auburn either wins 2 or loses all three. That's the pattern. Under Mainieri, LSU has swept Auburn twice and lost 2/3 the other 4 times.
So it's not whether Auburn will win 2 or 3 games, it's whether they'll lose 1 or 3 games.
ETA: Again, it's fricking mind bottling (yes, I did that on purpose), that of all schools, Auburn has our number in baseball. In the past 6 years, we're up 10-8 but with 4 series losses.

Since everything at Auburn sucks this year, I say we sweep Auburn Early. No game goes the distance

Why are you not giving him shite then? I assumed you thought his call to throw at an LSU hitter for no other reason that he was raping them at the plate was classy.

Whether the pitch was right, wrong or in a gray area, reacting like a bitch is still reacting like a bitch.
So taking up for your players is "reacting like a bitch".....

Let me relate this to something you may understand. If an offensive lineman throws an illegal chop block and ruins a defensive tackles season the d lineman's coach will call out the opposing player. The bitch move did not come from the coach it came from the offensive lineman. Sound familiar?

So have all the coaches LSU has played the last few years bitched about the several illegal chop blocks LSU players have done?

This has gone past the point of hilarity.
Are you guys not able to keep a thread on topic?

I actually responded to the op in a genuine manner.
fricking '09 is the last time we won a series with yall. And it's funny that in that time we've never played in the SECT against each other. Only the reg. season games.

Why are you not giving him shite then?
quote:Not classy. However, throwing behind a guy, not as awful and outrageous as LSU fans, players and coaches are making it.

quote:Ok. What if he dives on the ground near the d-lineman's legs but doesn't hit him or injure him and then his team gets blown out? Will he class the whole incident up by making snarky comments about how many games he won on other days against that team?
