what game did LSU throw at Rea and how do you know it was on purpose?
I think Sunday because it was daylight. Friday and Saturday's games were mostly in the dark if I remember correctly

Well, I don't want us throwing at any of their players, but maybe we could bean Maineiri when trots the lineup card out.

so LSU threw at Wes Rea, a guy that collected no hits in the first 2 games in an effort to retaliate after MSU threw at Katz who had just won 2 games on homeruns?
that seems plausible.

Thhis is from the Times Picayune, a New Orleans newspaper. LINK
by "inside and behind" the pitch was about 2 inches from his forehead on both pitches. The reporter is homerish. Both those pitches from Rumbelow were a hell of a lot more dangerous than anything Graveman threw.
interestingly enought the reporter didn't count the same pitch prior to this one and went on to say in the article that with 2 outs and 2 on base it was perfectly acceptable to throw at him.

There was never another incident the rest of the day, although big State first baseman Wes Rea seemed to be rankled in the 6th inning when a Nick Rumbelow pitch buzzed inside and behind him.

quote:Sure. I quoted you and responded to your post.
. Why don't you spell it out for me there big guy!
Then, I quoted another poster and asked if he was serious. Really not that difficult to follow along. Just consolidating two responses into one post. While your level a comprehension is questionable at best, you have demonstrated an ability to read and I thought it would be easy enough to figure out.

Does AU sweep this weekend or win 2/3? LSU fans enlighten me

So, to YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU, throwing a pitch BEHIND the batter's head, literally BEHIND his body, to a red-hot batter who had hit 5 homeruns and won the previous game, was more dangerous than throwing 2 inside pitches to a batter who didn't have a hit all weekend ??????????
And no, don't make up s--t. The writer did not say it was 'perfectly acceptable to throw at him.'
Jesus Ezekial Christ. I'd expect this kind of girlish rationalism from other SEC schools fans.
But Mississippi Fricking State ??????????????
1-2 at home says it all I guess....
