It would not be shocking if true. USC required counseling and a "last chance agreement" after his initial issues with alcohol. He was fired for active concealment of his alcoholism and lost his counter-suit that it was a disability the University should have accommodated.

I feel comfortable that such clauses are in several HC contracts.
