Better O-Line
Better D-Line
Special teams is head over heels better than last year.
Obviously the QB situation is a lot better.
We have more than one WR that can catch this year.

Try again, Holmes.

I also recall how y'all didn't look very good before that game and then played up to your potential. I also recall how this year the game is at Auburn. I also recall that the person responsible for them being undefeated was not on their team last year.

So Newton doesnt make either of these look better than they actually are?

Sure he does. But when the qb gets the ball to the recievers it's amazing the difference you'll see in them. I guess a better way to say this than we have more than one WR that can catch teh ball this year, is that we have more than one WR that actually factors into the offense this year.

Again, save Newton on offense and Fairley on defense, LSU wins every single matchup man to man.

To quote the throng of LSU fans who have made it over

"This is an LSU board"

Also take a look at the board. We're the auburn war eagle plainsment tigers bama rejects step-bamas boogs (insert childish phrase here) etc. etc. So no one would confuse us as the tigers.

Yall always have decent enough WRs, I was basically just alluding to the fact that Cam is so good on busted plays. He allows those guys to get free from coverage etc., makes it easier on them.

Hadn't really thought of that aspect...good point. I was more focused on how bad christy todd was at times. Receiver coudl have run a great rout have gotten space and there was no hope the ball would get there. I credit the guy for coming back from shoulder problems and doing what he did. BUt i don't miss Todd.

Was Todd a better passer than Newton? I know newton's arm is much stronger, but accuracy, decision making?

Probably...but todd never had time to make a decision because he fell down at the first thought, not sight, of a defender putting pressure on him.

Like WTDV said. Newton buys time. Todd went to ground.

Both defense and offense improved for LSU this year.

Auburn only improved on offense. And their punting game is an adventure, and may wind up being the difference in the game.
