Your logic is faulty for several reasons...i won't exhaust the topic but to point out a glaring deficiency or two in your mental calculations:

1. alabama didn't have the Greatest Player In The History of College Football playing for them

2. alabama's best player was really that fat dude on the D line (and he didn't have a smile that could light up a small, rent controlled, NYC apartment)....

3. LSU has never had The Greatest Player in College Football History or even the best of teh season...you guys (just my opinion, now) backed into two national titles (one of which you had to split with the team i thought was the clear MNC winner for that year.

I could go on and on but i won't do that as I have already proven the point of my Auburn Brother's previous post.

I think most of the major programs are dirty. Auburn looks like they are dirtier than most but I know guys at University of Houston that were getting money and they aren't even a big program. If UH players are getting the hundred dollar handshakes, then who knows what goes on elsewhere. It is really hard to stop boosters.

Auburn has been proven "guilty by association" by fans that hate auburn, but alabama is on probation as we type and it is a proven fact that they offered $200K for albert means.

Guess dirty is in the eye of the beholder.

If anybody thinks all of these kids who can't string along a sentence in English are really qualifying for school then you're naive and choosing to believe what makes you feel good. We've been hit multiple times. We do look dirtier than most. Based on the Logan Young and Pat Dye issues in the recent past, both of our programs look dirtier than a school like TCU. I think if I denied that, then I'd be invalidating all of my posts due to homerism. I hope Bama has cleaned things up a great deal but I have no real way of knowing what goes on.

People think Auburn is guilty because of their past and because Cecil Newton admitted to shopping his son. Maybe they did nothing wrong, however public opinion of Auburn is not good. When most publications have questioned whether they'll keep their title... it is a bad sign. At least we didn't have that problem after our most recent championship.

Tebow might not have done anything wrong, but he also was not as great as people pretended like he was...he was surrounded by talent and did okay but couldn't lead his team to an unbeaten season, which in my opinion, is the true mark of greatness (not losing)...

Agree to disagree....I think it's obvious that he's better than Tebow or anybody else. And since all the posters here have said is that AU sucks as a team, i can only conclude that he did it by himself which only adds to his legend.

Disagree...but look, i'm an x's and o's football fan...if you can't beat us on the field i don't want to hear it. I'm all about what happens between the white lines where the game is played. I'll leave the reality show style soap opera garbage to ESPN types.
