I say run Sony a ton

Sony is the wildcard IMO. He was super rusty against nichols but seemed to get his legs back last week. He provides a bit of a running dynamic that chubb doesn't in addition to his abilities as a pass catcher.

Also one thing I desperately wanna see is the friggin TIGHT ENDS dammit. We go about 4 deep with very, very good TEs and thus far we mostly just want to see them block. Last week we finally got them some more targets, and they delivered. Especially in crunch time. I'd love to see some passes to the middle with those guys.

Yes but only if they fall behind by 3 tds in the first half.

OM's quick strike offense + UGA's ball control offense means the Rebel D could be out there a lot. Which harkens back to points #1 and #2.

This.

OM will be up 10 going into break. OM will blow said 10 point lead after. Game. Dawgs.

Unfortunately, this is what concerns me. I do think we figure it out and win though. Maybe. Perhaps. I hope.

Welcome to LSU football the past decade. We have hit our tight ends more so than our receivers lately and I can't contain myself

I love my Dawgs, but this really isn't a good match-up at all. We can't really take advantage of OM's weaknesses (I think). If Eason has an out-of-body experience we have a punchers chance.

Now there is a 99.9993% chance Ole Miss victory will be vacated at some point.

Chubb left/right A-gap all day

Getting Chubb rolling is their path to victory on the offensive side. IMO, UGA's biggest concern is on defense. Mizzou and Drew Lock lit them up like a Christmas tree. If they perform at the same level against Kelly, OM will hang 50 or more on them.

Less than 20% chance IMO. Will take some help from Ole Miss for it to happen.

It's hard to get Chubb rolling if they commit to stopping the run like Mizzou. I don't think OM has anyone as dynamic on the D-line as that big cat Mizzou has; he was a 1-man problem for UGA. That helps.

Regarding Lock/ Christmas tree- Kelly is known as a gunslinger, but he'd never make some of the bad throws Lock made....but will probably make a lot of the good throws Lock made. I have a feeling this could get ugly if OM comes to play.

For 1 half they did. Here are all mizzou drives in the second half:

1 play, 6 yards- TD (off a UGA turnover)
3 plays, 6 yards, punt
3 plays, -6 yards, INT
3 plays, 7 yards, punt
3 plays, 11 yards, INT
15 plays, 60 yards, INT
6 plays, 16 yards, punt
1 play, 18 yards, fumble

That is one thing I'm thrilled to death about, these coaches (specifically on D, not surprising with kirby) make legit adjustments. I imagine OM will light us up early but I'm hopeful we'll make correctiosn and slow them down later.

I did not know this. A full game of that D and we might be in position to steal another one.

I think Lo Carter has to play big and be disruptive...I see no evidence that will happen. So DB's better be in lock-down mode.

As much as I would like to see UGA win the game, I think they will be way overmatched by OM. SwagKelly is a big threat. The D is nasty and I don't think Chubb will get much room to run. I have OM by double digits.

This- our problem is when they take Chubb away, we have a true freshman QB and less than dynamic WR's trying to exploit OM's only D weakness- their secondary. Bad match up.
