Yeah it sucks. We got lucky in 2011 and 2014 because we had a snowstorm and everything was shut down the following day (Tuesday).

I hate that, too.
Don't like the final four final on a Monday, either, but that's a little more tolerable since a basketball game lasts half as long as a football game

I despise that there is a month break between conference championship games and the first playoff game, but I despise more that there is no break between the semis and the final.

They should move the semis back one week

How would you feel about semifinals the Saturday before Christmas, and a final on New Year's day? Sometimes you'd get 8 days between (if Christmas is on a Sunday), sometimes 14 (If Christmas is a Saturday), with an average of about 11 days between.

So, the playoffs are on Saturday 12/28 and the Championship is on Monday 1/13. Why could they not just put the Championship on Friday 1/10? I doubt there are any high level competing events going on that day.

Some of the BCSCGs were on Thursday. That was nice since I had no classes on Friday.
