Naaahh.
LSU was a Top 12 team in wins and a Top 10 team in bowls """""""""""" B E F O R E """""""""""
Saban came to Baton Rouge.

And FWIW, LSU in the last 8 years, is the 2nd winningest program in college football, behind only Boise State.
Coincidentally, that's ALSO how long Les Miles has been in Baton Rouge. (Actually 9 years in January.)

LSU has 3 consensus NCs in football (1958,2003,2007)....
....and 5 other football NCs from other Polls, indexes, associations, rankings, publications, etc: (1908,1935,1936,1962,2011), for a total of 8,
and we are now #11 in all-time wins and #8 in bowls.

Also, we have had over 30 Track NC's and 6 Baseball NC's just in the last 30 years.

I'd much rather those NCs than Gymnastics and Softball any day......

Ok, so you wouldn't rather have "half" our football success. Congrats.

Not sure how to gauge this question. If you are asking if I would like LSU to win more than two MNC and 1/2 dozen SEC titles are however many we have then yes. If you asking me if I envy the clan of redneck (gump nation) and want to be them the answer is hell no.

I don't care about Bama's success over 30 years ago.

Yes I would like to be around during the success.

So it's only football, basketball, baseball? Gymnastics, golf ad softball don't count?

Personally I'd like to win every game-match in every sport but that won't happen. So I'll ride the horse we've got.

Uhhh, we've had WAY MORE than half, Socrates.
3 Consensus NCs, 5 more from other sources,
10 SEC titles,
#11 all-time in # of victories, #8 in bowls.
LSU has been to a NYD or better bowl game in every decade of the modern era (from the 1930s)except the 1990s, and had at least 2 Top Ten teams every decade since then except the '90s.

LSU has the 2nd winningest team in CFB in "Miles" tenure - the last 8 years, behind Boise St, and has been ranked in every poll but 3 in that time frame.

We also have lost 2 non-conference games, (both bowl games) in the Miles era.

No, I may be going out on a limb, but what you trying to insiuate is we all strive to be like you and envy the great gump nation. So the answer to that is hell no, I am perfectly happy with the state of LSU football and will be moreso after we kick the gumps arse in November.
