Him jumping ship prior to the playoffs is a bad precedent similar to when the 1st players sat out bowl.

Look at FSU vs Georgia 2023 63-3 after opt outs.

Notre Dame 10-2 sitting out bowl season because they missed the playoffs.

These are horrible for the conferences as it kills TV revenue.

Another team in the SEC (Texas) have a player that was in an NFL camp.

I don’t care if either player gets to play a down. It’s just amazing that the media is all LSU when 298 other people are suing.

This is a 1 year issue and the NCAA could have asked for this to be class action since there are very few issues across all lawsuits.

The SEC created a rule under the guise that the NCAA wasn’t the rule governing body for college sport for all NCAA members.

Now the issue is political with AGs across the country weighing in on one of hundreds lawsuits which are in current litigation.

Saturday it will all be over as football starts. 48 hrs for from now the SEC rant will be locked for a day and the in game shite posting can begin.

I don't think much of this is actually about Kiffin. It's his job to find ways to win and he found an opportunity. It's not a personal vendetta against him. The SEC does not care that he left Ole Miss prior to the playoff.

It's obviously more about Kiffin. But not for the reasons you mention. No one cares that other schools are wanting to do the same
