I don’t mind a big group at a watch party, and we have our Grove group that we watch a lot of away games with at somebody’s house. But man, there’s always one or two wives who want to talk to me about random shite when I’m trying to watch. It drives me nuts!

Alone or with my sons only

I generally watch alone, unless I can watch with my brothers, which is somewhat rare. Like many others who commented, it's not fun to be with a bunch of people who don't care about the game.
I do love the sports bar scene when 1) UGA isn't playing 2) There are a few good matchups on at the same time 3) The bar has some clue about what games to have on (this is unfortunately not often).

Pretty much the same. Either alone or with just a couple others, either close friend or family, never some acquaintance type.

My family has taken to letting me watch the games alone. It's better for all of us...

Almost always alone, on the patio, with favorite beers handy and good cigar or pipe. I set up my LSU artifacts and have my LSU music jamming before and during breaks.

The danger with a group is there will always be that one guy that doesn’t know shite about what he is seeing.

I don’t care as long as they’re not distracting. I’m trying to watch a game, not answer 500 questions or talk about something else.

I absolutely hate watching in a group. Prefer dark room, big screen and to be left alone.
You either have couples trying to talk about something else or that annoying pee wee football coach that coaches his son who he thinks is going to be a D1 QB someday and blabs about his genius play calling.

Man I don’t even remember the last time I deliberately watched at least a major LSU SEC game with a non LSU fan but I think it was like 2008-9
wife’s friends husband. That dude was a damn Washington fan. I swore never again.

enjoy watching the game with friends, but hate watching at parties where you have some random bitch walk in and ask “what’s the score?” as if it’s not plastered in the bottom of the screen, or some other dumb question.
How about when they start trying to show you cat pictures?! I'm like wtf no one gives a shite about a damn cat.

When I have, it has been at my place and I make sure everyone is pulling for the same team. I've made the mistake of getting talked into a group gathering in past years and you always get some barners and soon you might as well be watching with the rant. Complete control of the remote is the key to having a fun experience with your friends. And beer.

I’ll watch with family but don’t care to watch with fans/friends of other teams. They blab too much and take away from the experience of enjoying the game.
