Fluke
ehh, I don't think it was a fluke so much. Watching the body language before the game, looked like our guys were treating it like just another game while OU looked like they were ready to rip someones head off and shite down necks; probably due to us prolapsing their anus the previous year 49-0. I dunno, just felt like the Texas side wasn't taking it seriously like they were going to go out and shut them out again. Regardless, we did finally take a late lead but then trotted out some stupid fricking prevent defense for the last minute.
TLDR: I don't think it was a fluke, I just think our team wasn't prepared for that game like they should have been because of the game last year.

Texas has the DL to beat UGA.

Both are 1 loss teams. Texas wins big 12 and only notable win is against Bama.
I think the committee painted themselves in the corner with the whole head to head matchup thing between bama and Texas. They used that to keep Texas ahead of Bama so they had to keep bama ahead of UGA.

well we know they are better than Bama... should be Texas UGA if anything you needed a miracle to beat a bad bad Auburn team.....

Truth. And to be honest….this discussion is about the wrong team. That shite jv squad from Michigan are the ones who deserve to be left out, not Texas. Bama destroying them tomorrow night will prove it.

I would say probably not but they most definitely earned their way in over UGA by playing Bama on the road and winning.

Georgia's probably the best even though Alabama beat them.
However, it seems the committee basically just chose 4 of the 5 conference champions.

Not a chance.
1) UGA
2) LSU
3) Washington
4) Texas
5) Michigan
6) Alabama
7) Ohio State
8) Missouri
Who disagrees ???

Texsa' loss to oklahoma is by far the worst loss between Georgia, Bama and texsa.

Worshington has the best WR group in the nation.
Texas has a slight weakness and it's their secondary.
That will be the thing to watch in that game.
Sweat and Co. will need to dominate the line and rattle Penix.
I know that wasn't your question. I'd say Texas would beat Georgia this year.
