I don't have in laws at this point, so that's a hard question for me to answer. I didn't say his wives parents lived in Crescent Beach, I said they lived in FL.

I think it is pretty telling there has not been a word out of Stoops, he is usually all over rumors like this, right now he is dead silent...

I just figured i'd throw this out there since people were ruling mullen out because of his new house.

Mullen is being ruled out because he wasn't offered. If he gets offered, if we whiff on our 1st tier guys, things could change with Mullen. For now, he's not being shown any love by the administration.

Petrino has been in contact, but hasn't interviewed.

ORLY, so did he call in between the pizza delivery to the the Razorback student athletes or before he met with his assistants in preparation for recruiting visits. You do not interview Bobby Petrino. You either hire him or do not and I do not believe he has contacted anyone or anything besides what your delusional fan base thinks. Prepare for a Kiffin type kick in the face to bring you all back to reality.

Probably depends on the type of people they're.

Whatever makes you feel better. I'm just stating what has been reported on our insider boards.

Also, you're clueless if you don't believe there's more than one way to be in contact with a coach.

"Florida buzz today focused on Harbaugh, Petersen, Edsall, Muschasmp, Sumlin, Fedora ...also hearing search could be over in a week"

this is Joe Schads tweet today from the real source and I think ESPN news knows more than your insiders.

I could have seen Stoops taking the UF job last year after a disappointing season. I think he stays at OU after this year though. I'm out of the loop--what's the talk around Gainesville?

those boards are no more informative than this board, i wouldn't trust anything i read on any board except bluetuna's thread, that thing is the gospel and anyone who says different can go to hell. anyone with real inside sources probably isn't typing on the board but instead its third hand info, like i know this guy who knows a guy in the athletic department that said calls have been placed to petrino, which could mean you guys called petrinos agent and got shot down but no one really knows cept the ADs involved and petrino.

From what I have heard --- Stoops, Petrino, and Mullen all said thanks but NO THANKS, they know the expectations and what they are. I do not blame them one bit.

Joe Schad is a genius. He's the one saying that Texas to the Pac 10 was a lock, and was the one reporting all the stuff on Cam that fell through. Great insider ESPN has their.

At least the people on Gator boards have people connected to the UF program.

Petrino has not been in any type of contact with anyone from Florida.

At this point, Petrino has been more worried about getting his assistants raises to secure them for next season. After that is completed he will sign his new contract. A contract that will up his buyout from $4.75million to $6million per his request.

well you know the school has not been in contact with Petrino directly but rather his agent. Your post made it sound like Petrino had made contact to you all to express his interest which I doubt. I would rather more expect your AD/ Boosters to call these coaches agents and they say either they are happy were they are or might be interested which I doubt. Petrino's contract is a bitch to deal with but it could be done.

I just see you all getting a Malazhan, Muschamp, Petersen, or maybe even Chip Kelly

I specifically stated that you're crazy if you think that there's not more than 1 way that coaches are contacted. Hence meaning that Petrino was probably contacted through an Agent.

Sorry for the confusion. In no way am I trying to be an arse about Petrino either. Sorry if it comes off like that.

I would take Petersen or Kelly. I would have a hard time accepting Muschamp, but I could live with Malzahn. I would take a Malzahn/Muschamp combination, although I believe Muschamp's D's are a bit overrated.

I bet they can get him, but he's not on their radar like Arkansas fans want to think.

It wasn't the Hog Fans mentioning him as a possibility. Regardless, Petrino isn't going to Florida whether they want him or not.

Petersen seems most likely.

I can't see Petrino jumping after the school's committed so much to him and Petrino saying he's had the most fun coaching this year than he's ever had in his career.

Stoops - what's his connection to UF? He's beeing ruling the Big XII for the past decade. Why would he leave that behind to go to UF?

Stoops was DC for Spurrier and is very very tight with Foley. Although here lately it appears that he has pimped Foley for raises from OU.

I would agree that Petersen seems most likely.

While Petrino would be a nice fit at UF, he doesn't currently have an offer like the other 2. I think Foley is waiting for these other 2 guys before he puts a press on Petrino.
