I didn't say that. I said that I was a female, and not a redneck. Learn to read.

Are we going to have to start splittin hairs about UAt and UAb and shite AGAIN?

Maybe you can go ahead and claim UA-Huntsville as well. That way, you can mix in a little engineering as well.

I know you're having fun with this and that's fine, but this is an example of what I'm talking about. Auburn people have this how dare you attitude towards Alabama for something as basic as this. The UA School of Medicine was a direct graduate program of the main campus for MANY MANY MANY years before UAB even existed. That same entity was moved to Bham (UA School of Medicine LOCATED IN B'ham) to take advantage of the resources of the state's largest city. That medical school belongs just as much (if not more) to the main campus as it does UAB and no amount of petty semantics from Auburn fans is going to change that. If Auburn decided to move their graduate engineering programs to Huntsville to better benefit the state and an Auburn-Huntsville branch was started you better believe it would be called the Auburn school of engineering.

It's petty s### like this and the other urban legend that gets shoved down the throats of Alabama people by Auburn people. You know the one...Auburn is SOOOOO much harder to get into than Alabama and is a MUCH better school than Alabama. I can't begin to count how many times I've heard that one despite the incoming numbers for each school being almost identical.

Do what? I don't think I read that right.

If it belongs to UA more, why in the hell is it listed as "The UAB School of Medicine"?
UAB not UA School of Medicine

From the very same link:

"In the predoctoral medical education program, the first two basic science years are taught on the main campus of the University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham; the last two clinical years are divided among the main campus and the two branch campuses in Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. The three units are accredited as the University of Alabama School of Medicine by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which approves all programs in medical education in the United States and Canada."

In other words, it belongs to UA the same as it does UAB and is accredited as the University of Alabama School of Medicine

If you are a branch, you can hardly call yourself the owner, especially with the majority of med students in Bham. UA has a huge medical school building on university blvd, but all those kids come over with orders from UAB.

UA is ranked higher than any other university in the state and pretty much calls the shots on the system board. There's no need to claim pieces of UAB as our own just to further an argument with AU fans, lol.
