Do we have one on our schedule? Seriously... I haven’t seen a good defense in the SEC this year. I’ve seen people here claiming their team has a good defense, but after watching every SEC team play, I can’t say with certainty that any of the defenses are good.

I think Auburn has a pretty good defense. Florida is solid. Bama is solid. LSU has all the pieces and hopefully figure it out. But there really isn't a dominant defense in the SEC this year. I cant really think of one in the country unless I'm just drawing a blank. I'm sure Ohio State is pretty salty on that side of the ball but I haven't watched enough of them to form an opinion.

Well it certainly doesn’t compare to whatever Jimbo isrunning with that awesome QB that A&M has. Man, they took care of business against the mighty Arkansas.

You make a valid point, and I was certainly in that train and still admittedly miss a more ball control/Run first approach.. Having said that it was working at LSU to be a top 15-20 type team. LSU needed to to try something else vs Bama.

Competition will get tougher but no one can deny it has worked and is a vast improvement over previous years. LSU has scored more points in the first 4 games than any team in the history of the league. Just about every schedule will include several cupcakes to start. A bad offensive team can’t score this many points vs air.
