Ok... you've made a mess of things for yourself since I went to work. Can you explain Meyer's undefeated season and national titles if his offense doesn't work in the SEC?

Herban is a supreme douche, but he is the best coach in CFB imo.

And that state also has several legitimate teams recruiting it.

Florida
Florida State
Miami
South Florida
Central Florida

Even some smaller schools like Florida Atlantic and Florida International.

And then you have to factor in teams from out of state that come in and recruit Florida.

All Nutt Huggers know that the Florida game was the for the National Championship. Nutt told the players that I am sure. Today boys you play for the national championship

You know...Many of us on the SEC Rant don't agree on many topics. However, we are true to our programs and will fight to the end to defend our colors.

You my friend are no such person. You reference Arkansas as "WE" and down our coach in the same sentence. You put Houston Nutt on a pedestal that he will never live up too. Your posts are fluff and smell of the the GOB MSM regime because your quotes are the same we've been hearing for years under Nutt and Broyles.

That "we" crap is some sort of ploy so he sounds unbiased when bashing Arkansas.

duke, if you had the presence of mind to actually read the entire thread instead of harp on the first sentence, you'd see why that prediction was made by a professional prognosticator (me)

You realize by the first sentence I could tell there was nothing but mindless drivel in the post and it probably wasn't worth my time.

One thing most of us can agree with on this board. You are as full of sh*t as a Christmas goose. You don't know anything about HDN, and if you did, you wouldn't have that piece of sh*t put on a pedistal. At best he is ok, and thats stretching it. So Wildrebeltime, this is for you.....

also he reversed positions that Arkansas can't recruit Texas, but reclarified that he thinks Arkansas might as well not because he thinks Rice will out recruit us.

That and he holds an idea that the coaches past career don't matter to prop up his argument that HDN is a great coach. Later on past records were brought up and his idea that the past season was the only measuring stick for a coach that wasn't HDN. Denies that Meyer's system in Florida works and that Meyer's system has worked elsewhere.

At one point he said that Kodi Burns wasn't going to be a good QB because Malzhan recruited him to run a spread offense. And because Burns isn't all he was touted to be then Malzhan is over his head. (lack of coherency)

Later he said Gus coaching in the SEC is like Leach running a wing T offense. (not terribly relavent)

Says that OM has the best Coaching staff and praised Markuson in particular. (because zone blocking is the way to go for all plays!)

Tried to negate Ross's argument by calling him a cruel poster.

Thinks that the odds for OM to win the NC should be 4-1 in Vegas

Took a potshot at Duke.

Says that Nutt outcoached Meyer twice. even though he only beat him once. when confronted about it he reversed position to say in both games there were times that Nutt out coached him, which is true but that can be said in any game.

Brought up that Arkansas doesn't have a lot of SEC tradition but we've only been in the Conference 20 years so no shite.

Made a stab at why Petrino and Malzhan were over their heads by showing us a video of Graham Harell getting sacked.

He threated a hog poster via email.

Made a chess reference to Ross that didn't make sense when compared to the actual argument.

Said that Arkansas should never win more than 3 conference games a year.

Called Arkansas 10th in potential in the SEC only ahead of MSU and Vandy.

When proven wrong on most cases he brought NFL production into the mix and neglects that Nutt brought in and coached the lack of NFL production

Lost several arguments and said Meyer wouldn't be a good NFL coach. (no one said he would and Meyer wants to coach college ball)

Said that Meyer's and Nutt's system's side by side that Nutt's is more effective.

Said that Meyer wouldn't have had success if placed at Arkansas in the same span of time. (if and buts have no place here.)

That's the cliff notes.

Almost every person on our coaching staff is better at their job that Houston Nutt.
I'd say our coaching staff is top 4 in the SEC.

I'd almost agree with this if Florida didn't exist, well at least 4-1 to make the game. Florida exists which makes the chances become microscopic at best.

That's my smokin' buddy.

This is close to being right, Arkansas does not have near enough in-state talent to be a great program. It has pretty much everything else...good fan base, good tradition, tons of money, great facilities, nice town... Not having the talent in-state is a huge problem though.

You're only gonna get the best players from Arkansas, How many players are you gonna steal from Texas and Oklahoma?
Sure you'll probably steal the players that Texas A and M use to get, except they're headed of to Texas Tech and Okie state now.
Arkansas needs an exceptional recruiter and a good coach to get the program to a higher level.

LSU can win a NC with les miles.
