Alabama is efficient and is a good team, but it isn’t some machine like in the peak Saban years. We aren’t blowing anyone out and have shown that we aren’t great at seizing momentum to put a game completely out of reach. If Ty has another off game, the WRs keep dropping the ball, or the rushing game continues to be abysmal, LSU has a real chance to shock the world. I’m expecting a very close game.

Not sure pride with be that big of a deal in the age of hire hands and the transfer portal. Maybe you could say some are putting audition tapes on for their next team but I don't think it is as much about pride any more.

LSU played their asses off
LSU players loved their coach back then. I don’t know how many of them love their current staff. I’d bet most of them were relieved when Kelly was fired - so maybe they’ll be playing harder because of that.

I’m watching the game no matter how bad we suck and I prefer a night game. 6:30 works just fine for me.
