I think it's tough to say for sure. When someone loves where they live and believe in what they've built it's near impossible to pry them away. He may just be comfortable there and doesn't feel like uprooting the family. LSU had the same situation with Aranda.

Honestly LSU should just keep Coach O; he's the perfect coach for the Louisiana culture.

Riley knows how to plot against a defense, but he doesn't know how to build a defense. He's an offensive coordinator with a side gig as a head coach.

Riley needs to take that next step and get a trusted OC that can run his system. Lane did this and it made him a better coach. All of the sudden other phases of the game got better.
