I just want to know what was there to do & talk about when Alabama football was sucking all those years. It seems that Alabama football is the only thing that your state has any pride in. In Louisiana we have culture, tradition, & more of our teeth. Bama is just known for having a bunch of cowtowns & having the common sense of Forrest Gump. Could you imagine someone saying, 0h your from Alabama-thats awesome dude. There is som much to do

I can't believe this thread made 7 pages already.
Of course LSU deserved the NC that year. Arkansas may have been the better team that night, but LSU had the better overall season.
On a side note... Didn't Kentucky stomp Arkansas in Fayetteville that year?

Well if LSU had won the 2009 championship, the trophy would have been displayed in Wal-Mart there too...just part of the deal no matter how bad it sucks.
