As much as you want it to disappear, LSU beat Bama in tuscaloosa. Had that not happened, and only the beat down occured, you wouldn't hear that. You speak as if people are pulling that out of thin air, because you wish people would forget your loss. I could see some gumps claiming an undefeated season this year because "11/5 was a fluke". It shows a lack of respect, tbh.

LSU was the better team, 11/5. Bama was the better team on 1/9. Just because LSU shite the bed that game, doesn't mean that Bama wouldn't if they were to play again. To think otherwise says you think your team is infallible, and both have shown that to be incorrect.

dude, when you get outgained, when the opposing team has more scoring oppurtunites, when you wwin because the other team missed not one, but THREE filed goals, you're not the better team- youre the luckier team.

However, when you spank a team by three touchdowns, when you not only shut them out but only allow them into your territory ONE time (and NEVER in the red zone), when you put up FOUR TIMES as much offense as the opposing team.........

Well your most definitely the better damn team!!!

True

Call me delusional or a homer all you want but that's how I feel. Sorry. It would be one thing if LSU beat Alabama in regulation in the first game or if the second wasn't such an arse beating. Not to mention the stats aren't even in the same galaxy. LSU is great and I'll never look back at this season without remembering how good LSU was too, but imo Alabama was a better team.

Congrats. Miles lucked out another one. Im just glad Saban didnt try to depend on luck on 1/9, and just prison raped miles instead.

It's just amazing that losing and claiming you are still the better team is perfectly acceptable, but dare to say you happen to.be better than the almighty Bama on a given day, and its absurd.

Fwiw, the offense and defense of.both teams did exactly what they needed to do. That mystical third leg was the difference. LSU could have attempted ridiculous fg instead of punting, and that would have made us better that day? Is that really what you are saying? 2/3 missed fg for Bama should have been punts. Bad coaching should .also be.considered, as it is when reviewing 1/9.

It means something when qualifying the overall dominance or abilities of a team. All wins are not created equally.

Funny how Bama fans are the only ones that can use the "we beat ourselves" when they lose. I definitely think JJ/Miles beat LSU. The great offense Bama fans claim to have scored ONE TD with 2 minutes left in the game. This is a BS NC for Bama, them bastards should have never played in this game. They have one loss at home to LSU with the same record as LSU and they still pound their chest. Truly pathetic! I'm sure NCAA violations will come up over the summer, karma.

Here is a page you could read while you're waiting for karma to tool Alabama in the arse.

Im claiming Alabama is better because LSU needed luck to win their game while Alabama pounded LSU into submission. ITs pretty easy, you won the first game because we missed field goals. We won the second because you never came close to scoring while surrendering 21 points.

I know, they used their psychic abilities to cause those two field goals to miss.....

You dont punt when you have a scholarship kicker attempting a field goal inside fifty yards captain dumbass.

Saban outcoached les, les outlucked him the first time. Second time we just didnt leave anything to chance..

It wasn't the fgs that were bad.....it's the fact that the play right before the fgs Alabama was about 7 yards closer on each of them.

Iowa State beating OSU cost LSU the national title.

OSU would have been blown off the field. This is also the reason most LSU fans were deathly terrified of Bama getting into the NCG.

It gives a different meaning to "Useless as tits on a boar." However, posting shite like that should be a bannable offense.

Dayum. I'm tempted to put my head in my drill press with a 1" bit so that I could pour a cup of Clorox in to erase that crap.

No I think Les and his staff did a poor job preparing, adjusting, and out coached. I also think Bama played a near flawless game on both sides of the ball, and it would have taken a big effort from LSU to win. I also felt some of the seniors lost their poise and offered little leadership on the field.

Alright, name calling indicates you might getting a little upset. You clearly think that its implausible for AJ to have a bad game or that LSU, who beat every team Bama beat by a similar margin, could actually pull together a well called game. The first game was a fluke. Bama beat themselves. LSU played flawlessly on Monday, nut are simply no match for Bama. Yall would win 9/10, and LSU was lucky enough to.catch that one in November.

Yat signing off. Who dat and enjoy your day.

Clearly yall lucked the first game out. needed us to miss two field goals. We prison raped you the second game. IT wasnt even close. We are clearly the better team. Im sorry yall had dreams of being called the best team of the BCS era before we beat your best regular season team in the last fifty years by three touchdowns.

PS- sorry we forgot to use lube.

In 8 quarters & OT, Bama attempted 13 FGs and scored a TD. They were in scoring position (ie close enough to attempt a FG) 14 times. LSU was in svoring position 3 times and one of those was bc they started there in OT and another was due to an INT that put them at the 15. The LSU offense crossed midfield on their own (without aid of OT or a turnover that placed them there) only 3 times in two games combined.

Bama was clearly the better team. I'm not even sure why there would be a debate when looking at Monday or at the 8 qtrs and OT combined.

I suppose there are a lot of Bama fans on here who had the redass about being jazzed on this board after 11/5, and they're just blowing off steam. LSU is a great team, but they had a shitty day. I could see this LSU team blowing out Bama on any given day.

I'm one of those with redass. All the confidence coming from the LSU side pissed me off. Anyone who watched the first game knew Jan 9th could go either way. And those that can use their brains knew that Alabama could easily, easily have won the first game with a break or two.
