Is Bama going to protect Simpson? It's going to be a tough game if it doesn't.
I don't know what his deal is. He should be recognizing the blitzes, adjusting for them, and then hitting the open guy. And he's just not.
I mean sure we have times when our line isn't giving him much time, but he's gotta get rid of the ball or whatever in those cases.
The sack fumble Oklahoma got on him was/is a legit worry. However it wasn't even blind side, Ty should have gotten rid of the ball and he just didn't.
We'll see. I have no idea what version of the offense we are going to get. If we play as well offensively as we did the first time we played Alabama, without the turnovers, I like our chances. Even though we lost that game, I felt good about the offense in general. 3 TD drives over 70 yards, 400 yards of offense vs Oklahoma only have 200, etc.
However, since we played that and have played Auburn and Georgia, I'm no longer very confident.

Our offense is mediocre at best, but I do find it funny how Bama’s offense had a very similar game against OU’s defense as OU’s offense had against LSU’s defense, but the talking points are completely different.
Somehow Bama really won that game that they lost and OU really lost that game that they won.

Maybe that's because our shitty QB threw 3 INTs and missed wide open TD throws like this:
Ty made a terrible INT against Georgia. Threw it into like triple coverage, kind of 4 really. Meanwhile, there was a guy wide open on a check down who could have picked up 20+.
And he did it on 3rd and 6. We only needed 6 yards and he's throwing it nearly 40 yards downfield into that. WTF dude.
And it's not even really like him to do that. He's only thrown a few INTs, but he's getting more and more desperate every week and it's showing.
I wish he would take a page from Joe Burrows book and just take what the defense gives. That's the way it's done.

Neither OU or Alabama has inspired any confidence at all the last month which is why the line is basically a pick em.

He'll probably actually put in film time against Alabama.
But I really hope he does this in our game.
