I don't think it is possible for one school and everything associated with it to catch so much flak over a four month period.

So either no one saw AU's pain or everyone thinks they rolled when he died...you pick.

Auburn is winning the PR war in this and it's not even close.

I don't care about the PR war because most people think we had it coming to us for whatever reason.

I want those dang trees alive and well.

Remember the old saying "win the battle, but lose the war"? Right now, hearts across the nation are torn over the loss on the Plains. Real wailing and gnashing teeth kind of shite.

Now, if the stuff with Robinson and Reed crank back up....

I don't care if the entire Auburn nation fapped furiously when Bear Bryant died, that's no excuse to do that to Toomer's.

If AU wanted to be classless, fine. That's their issue. But that doesn't mean that some retarded UA fan had to be just as bad.

And FFS, IT'S A GAME. Why would people take it so seriously? Stupid AU fans defacing a statue, or ruining a field, and stupid UA fan nuking some trees. It's getting as bad as stupid soccer rivalries.

I dont think the guy that did should go to jail!

At the end of the day it is just like any old tree.

You can find alot of old trees that die.... and it doesn't make the news, You all have a tiger, eagle, RIP tree as a mascot. How many do you all need?

imo

It's not like he took a chainsaw to it. He misused chemicals and contaminated the soil. It'll be costly to fix and repair the damage he did. At least cutting them down would have been isolated to the trees themselves. He deserves some jail time and some fines. What will constitue excessive will be greatly debated though, I'm sure.

"In common usage, to deface something refers to marking or removing the part of an object ..."

By definition, yes. I didn't say he nuked the fricker from orbit. Just saying it was defaced, by definition.

I'm not saying it happened, but if it did happen do you really think the school newspaper would have published it? What you have submitted proves nothing.
