Arkie will be good every year but they can't beat LSU or bama. In a couple of years they will be playing TA&M for third place in the west.

With a healthy Knile Davis, they should be better this very year. He is a game-changer that could get them very close to beating Bama or us in 2012.

The fact he got results in year 3 was astonishing. I wouldnt have guessed we would be where we are now after year 4.
His first class he recruited just graduated. Just about everyone of them had to play their freshman year because there was nothing better on campus.
He finally can redshirt 90% of a class now (2011 class). The guys he is getting on campus now are bigger and stronger than the other classes. Adams and Wright were the best WR and they were under 6'. The group next year will all be 6'1 at the least and have been in the weight room for a year, some two.
To answer the defense question, it's obvious he isn't a defense minded coach. Which is why he needs a good def cord. Hence why he just fired his previous one.
I don't think we will see a great defense this year. Similar results to last year. Maybe a little better.

I'm not really sure offense is the problem but when u look at the defencies Ark's offense faced with LSU and Bama this past year, well Bama every year it hasn't been pretty. Heck the offense needed Karnell Hatcher to give it 150 yards and 2 TDs on a silver platter the year before vs LSU too.
Seems like it's always going to be something that keeps them from getting over the hump. Not sure they can put together the complete package for an entire year to win the West. Based off the last years, you really have be a DOMINANT team to win the West.
With that said, is Knile Davis worth like 4 TDs?

No, I don't think we peaked last season.
In the past we would have a shot every 3 to 5 years. This isn't the case anymore. We will have a good squad every year and if you knock on the door long enough you will finally get to where we haven't been before.
Changing perception of Arkansas takes consistent winning and that's what we're in the process of doing. That will help recruiting bigtime if we show on the field that we aren't a flash in the pan and can say since BP has been here "this many guys have gone to the NFL etc."

at you thinking I'm looking for a moral victory in a game from 2 years ago. I'm just pointing out, Arkansas' elite offense hasn't really been elite when facing really good defenses. Couple it's inability to execute vs elite defense with a weak defense of it's own, and like I said, it's alot to overcome.
