OSU lost. You seem to ignore that little fact. They didn't lose to a NC caliber team, they lost to Iowa St.

Wow. Glad that's settled.

To clarify for the Bama fans, I was referring to the GSU team that put up 300+ rushing yards and 21 points on your team this year. I am not sure how the GSU teams of the 80's applies at all to this thread, but then again, it does go to explain how you guys declare every year's Bama team the greatest ever.

Come on man.

A busted play that went to the fullback right up the gut of your all-time great defense.

Over a true freshman DT that never plays... 3 starting DL were out for the game. However, they have played all the other games, the ones in which the Bama D has given up fewer yards and points than ANYBODY.

So flame on, you know we are coming on January 9 and all the b1tching and crying won't change that.

You're right, this one game against a team that ran the spread all year and then surprised us with the option (we had no film on option), put up some yards, and still got beat by 3+ TD's proves Bama's not very good. The other 10 blowouts and complete defensive shutdowns(7 against SEC teams) prove nothing.

Scrutinizing this game to find some sort of proof of Bama's unworthiness is ridiculous. Pathetic. Just... stop. It's sad.

key phrase here, "To me,"...

I read all your excuses, man. Not sure how it makes that simple fullback dive a "busted play". That fullback wasn't even good enough to be a backup on an FBS team. Add in the fact that surely the best defense of all time would have capable backups, and I am not sure it helped your point.

Whatever helps you. It means nothing to me, to be honest. I just love that even at a moment when your team was shown to MAYBE have a weakness, the excuses come flowing out. And I thought my anecdote was relevant because as I am listening to how amazing that GSU team is, I was wondering what my BIL and FIL's user names were on this site.

I never said that. Not at all. You resorting to angry sarcasm tells me you are pretty upset, though, so I will leave you be.

So, if "X" happens and "Y" follows, is "X" a reason, a cause, or an excuse?

ETA: I suppose I should have phrased it more precisely as a busted "assignment" and not a busted "play"

If OSU beats OU big this weekend there is a very good chance Bama and Nick are out of he NC picture... Just the facts

Bama had their shot in T-town and went down to the Fighting Tigers!
