If this is true why didn't the DA say this in his statement? Seems like a more logical explanation than "I don't want to ruin two kids lives when they have been sweating working outside while we are in air conditioning". That is just a dumb statement.

Yes, Bama should be proud to have these fine upstanding gentleman. Great examples of Bama youth. The would certainly love to love your daughters.
L5U don't have much room to talk with "gentleman" getting in trouble with the law under the Miles era.

Says the AU Fan.

This is one hell of a recruiting tool:

They could probably get away with murder right in front of the police if they wanted to.

Team rules? Bama don't need no stinkin team rules. Juwan Simpson and Cam Robinson can testify as to the continuity of Bama player punishment.

Your "curious" why a college student on break in his home town would be awake at 1-2 AM
It's not just the after 2:00AM time that I was questioning, it was also the location. An isolated parking lot of a closed park is not exactly the usual hangout spot for college students home on break. In other words, they weren't supposed to be in that parking lot. As such, their presence in the parking lot was suspicious in and of itself.
quote:The cops were doing their job. Patrolling to deter and prevent crimes. They observed something unusual and investigated. In the course of their investigation they found a handgun reported as stolen. They arrested those they felt had broken the law, i.e. those in possession of firearms and illegal drugs. It's not like they were tasked with investigating all of the circumstances necessary to prosecute those being arrested. Their jobs were to make the arrests.
You should be proud to claim those cops as sharp Louisiana tacks.
Investigating all of the facts and circumstances to determine whether to prosecute was above the pay grade of the arresting officers. Those tasked with making those determinations did their jobs, and decided not to prosecute. The system worked exactly as it was designed.
Maybe next time the Alabama football players should just follow their coach's advice, and you wouldn't have to defend their questionable behavior.
quote:Yet you will welcome them back as part of the Alabama football family in a heartbeat. What does that say about you?
Oh yeah, one more thing..those Alabama players are great examples of native Louisianians, just like the cops that tried to roust them.

Rental car? Is the NCAA going to investigate if they have had it too long and have paid the right amount for it???
Based on Tunsil that is like 7 games each. Bama fricked. Hammer coming. It's over.
