Georgia's defense isn't good enough (hasn't played good enough) for any of their players to get serious Heisman consideration.

if there was ever a year to NOT give the Heisman this is it
disagree, none of these so called "deservers" actually deserves shite. none of them are worthy cause NO ONE is worthy this year
biggest waste of time in the world= Heisman

Bednarik and Lombardi consideration? Absolutely.
Heisman? No.
Heisman? No.

I'll say this, he won't get it because UGA won't win anything of note. But based soley on how much a player has meaned to a team...its hard to argue he isnt extremely important to use winning games.

then he is UGA's MVP
not heisman
and it's not really about him. no one has earned it this year IMO so I wish they would say that and nt give it out

Did you see Musberger on PTI on Friday? He was asked what makes Teo more of a realistic candidate for the Heisman compared to other Defensive players. His answer was Teo plays for ND, know all the walk ons names, and hates cold weather.

AJ McCannon and his record breaking year disagree.
AJ will finish with the year with 3 NC's (2 as a starter), highest QB rating ever, about 25 TDs, no INTs, about 2800 yards passing. Many will proclaim his career a standard to which all other QB's will be compared. He will redefine the term QB.
And then he will return for his senior year and get his 4th NC.

I dont watch much ESPN outside of games. Too much bias and too many agendas.
Teo is good, but he's no better than any LB Bama has had over the last few years and not one of them has ever been mentioned as a heisman candidate.

I'll put it this way: I don't disagree.

If Te'o's getting consideration, then Jones should at least be mentioned as a dark horse IMO.
