You mean when Chad Jones went down like Foxy Brown on Knotting Hill? When Joe Adams said give me my fricking hat, Ima gonna score the next play you no driving hump? That one?
ETA: Ohhhhhhh, last year

Downside of the Nov 5th game next week is that the random rantards are down here in full force.

No he deserved to be ejected. He hit a defenseless PR and then celebrated like made a big play. Gtfo
I just hope he didn't go out in the parking lot and kick a Marine while he was laying on the ground then celebrate by smoking some gas station weed, no need in making a bad situation worse.

Who did that?

So every hit that's too early or too late, combined with a defender celebrating just like every defender does after every big hit, deserves an ejectment? That's ridiculous, you're letting your hatred for the Flagship cloud your judgment on this one.

i thought it was cobi hamilton with that one and then joe on the other on the 4th down when he stutter-stepped and ran smooth past the lsu defender while ryan lofted a perfect gorgeous pass over his right shoulder?

Wade is simply being picked on.
Call it broseph! The SEC Man is trying to keep Wade down. Just doing some honest work out there on the field.
Time to take it to the streets. Revolution up in this b*tch! It's on! (shameless "Undercover Brother" quote by David Chapelle).

Dude cramped up.
He is the same one who was on his knees in the endzone hitting the ground like a mad 2 year old after being scored upon, again.

You really are defending what happened?
you are better then this.

I didn't like finding out Curles was the referee for this game.
The SEC shouldn't allow him to referee Arkansas games...

He is saying he didn't think the penalty deserved an additional ejection.
I thought you would be smart enough to figure this out.

I don't think you read good, boy. No one is saying it was a good play (other than the heavy-handed sarcasm from some). What most are saying is that these types of plays happen all of the time (personal fouls and such). To say that celebrating what the player likely thought was a good play is ejectable is what perplexes me.
You're basically saying that celebrating is FINE as long as you don't do it on a play that results in a penalty.

After reading this thread I just want to clear up a few things.
The facts:
1) Vandy player wasn't just standing there waiting for the punt. It looked liked the vandy player misjudged it due to the sun and tried to run up late to try and catch it. This took the vandy player right into Wades path running down the field. Also made the hit much more violent due to the return man running forward.
2) Wade was not penalized for Head to Head contact or Taunting. Had he been penalized for either one the penalties 15 yards would have been added onto the end of the return.
3) The only penalty called was interfering with the catch.
4) After the hit Wade turned to the Arkansas sideline and pounded his chest. He did not direct anything toward any Vandy player. At that point, it looked like Wade thought he had made a great hit and play. Doesn't look like he even knew he had just been flagged.
5) You cannot eject a player for head to head or taunting if you do not call the penalty.
It was a boneheaded play. Should it have been a penalty? ABSOLUTELY!
But if you are going to eject Wade for this play you have to eject every player for a late hit, Roughing the QB, or Head to Head Contact on a receiver.
Not only that but I'm not even sure if the rules allow for a ref to eject a player for Catch Interference. (Only penalty called)
Again it was a stupid hit by Wade that was very worthy of a penalty, but it should not have been resulted in an ejection. Let the coach handle it!

Hard to tell if he was shading his eyes or caling a fair catch in the youtube video that I saw. Did he wave his hand before?
edited to add.
Nevermind the ASrky player never let him even attempt to make the catch.

It was absolutely the right call to eject him. It was a malicious hit. Not only was the timing of the hit illegal, the player intentionally lead with the crown of his helmet and aimed at the defenseless players face. The flag wasn't called correctly on the field, but the hit itself warranted an ejection.
Personal foul and ejection were both the correct calls. There's no place for that in football.

Then Chad Jones should have been ejected after Joe Adams countered his dirty intentions by knocking him the frick out.

I went back and watched. The Arky player at least has to let attempt to catch the ball.
