Thanks for the nice comments MM, he really gave a good speech. Hopefully young people will learn from his words and encouragement.
The other finalists were deserving to and may be back up there next year. Leonard Fournette may be there too, he is better than the results of this year, no doubt.

However, my experience has been that any time I am around LSU fans, even people I don't know, they will mouth off to me if they know I'm a Bama fan.
The last 3 times I've been in Florida on vacation (and wearing a Bama hat) I've had some LSU fan pipe up about how they're going to beat our ars next year or about how their baseball team is better (this actually happened).
Maybe these folks are just trying to start a little good natured banter but it always comes across as douchey when you start talking shite to someone you don't know, and especially so in the middle of summer, outside of the context of a gameday.
