I couldn't imagine a high school player trying to tackle him. I'm sure a lot of business decisions were made

Has anyone on here met Derrick Henry. He’s listed at 6’3”, but I swear he looks like he’s 6’6”. Just wondering what he looks like in person.

Saw him out in Nashville. He is a freakishly large human being.

Also, how shitty does your defense have to be when you go for 331 yards rushing, 3 TDs, and 10.84 YPC and still lose by 23? Was Henry scoring too fast or something?

My guess is they didn't throw the ball. A lot of these high school phenoms play on team where they are the entire offense. You see this a lot with college WRs and RBs playing an option QB role in high school and rarely throwing the ball.

But yeah, it's hard to imagine how or why you would lose many games with a guy like Henry playing against high school kids. One would think it would be nearly impossible to stop his team from scoring even if they knew what was coming every play.

Was he playing in a lower division in high school? I honestly have no idea. That could explain a lot if he did.

Why even post total bullshite? Like what's the reasoning for that?

Yulee was 4A when he was there (notice Gainesville and Bolles on the schedule) and they're 5A now.

Between high school and college that dude probably already had more carries than alot of retired NFL running backs.

Just googled it myself. Florida goes up to 8 Classes & 4A is middling enrollment of roughly 700-1100 students.

Class 8 is about 2500 plus.

Correct. Back then I believe it capped out at 6A or 7A. Regardless, it’s very different than 1A

I just went and watched some of it. He was always running for his life out of the spread option. He obviously did pretty well given the stats but if they would have ran him from an I formation he wouldve absolutely punished people.

My bad, he played my high school and we were always 1A, so I just assumed they were small school. No need to get all angry.

Gadsden county came to play . 43 carries /189 & 1 TD in a 16-13 loss.

They must have played goal line D the entire game because obviously Henry's team had absolutely nothing else.

El tractorcito is a giant in person. Not sure his actual height or weight but he’s one of the few humans I’ve seen in person where I was blown away by their size

The Big Show is another. Just mindblowing that a human can be that size
