Mengden completes it. 6-3 final.
That gives him back-to-back complete games and they just showed a stat that in the month of May, he has 4 starts, 34 IP, and has given up 4 ERs. Hope he gets a chance at another start this year.

Did this win get A&M into the NCAA tournament or do they need one more?

Who will A&M send to the hill tomorrow vs Vandy?

Mizzou/State will start up at 7:45 CT.

think we probably need to win a couple still. Wouldn't hurt to beat the Dores. Want to see the RPI after this one but I think it's going to be around 40 which likely won't be enough

My guess is Parker Ray who is 0-1 with a 2.12 ERA or Rafiel Pineda who is 5-4 with a 3.09 ERA

That's tough to say. Now that we are in the double elimination phase, we may mix it up to keep people on normal rest. Our #2 of late is Parker Ray. But you may see our midweek starter Long and let Ray pitch Thursday and Pineda pitch Friday if we make it that far.

Huge win. We are so close, but I still doubt that we get in without at least 2 more wins. Beating Vandy might be enough, but I just don't see that happening.

So if the Ags lose to Vandy (likely) then they will play the loser of SC and MSU (Both teams swept the Aggies)
But I suppose anything can happen in these tournaments.
ETA: Congrats Aggies on getting to the double elimination round!

yeah, a neutral site win over Vandy would probably move us up in the low 30s in RPI. It may be enough.
Honestly as long as Mizzou doesn't win tonight, any further win may get us there because our bracket would be loaded with #1, #10, and #11 RPI teams.

Zastryzny w/ 2 K's through the 1st inning, 0-0 through 1.

Mizzous pitcher is 2-9 with a 3.6 era. He must get zero run support. 75 Ks in 81 innings or so. Not as bad as his record would indicate.
